 What does giclée mean?

Giclee is a method of high quality inject printing, using archival pigment inks on Fine Art paper. Our prints are made this way, delivering pure, rich color and remarkable detail. 

What kind of paper do you use?

Our prints are created using Hahnemuhle Photo Rag FineArt Paper with a matte finish. This 100% cotton paper produces outstanding, museum quality prints that feature brilliant colors and perfect reproduction of detail. Acid and lignin-free.

What kind of inks are used to create the prints?

We use Canon PFI-1000 Lucia Pro ink. This high-quality pigment based ink offers a long-lasting print life of up to 200 years.

Are the prints signed?

Yes, all prints are signed in pencil by the artist, along with the title of the painting, in the border beneath the image. 

Do you offer original paintings?

Yes! Original paintings are posted when available.

How do you ship?

Both prints and original artwork ship within 3 business days of your order. All items are shipped via First Class Mail (Small Prints) and USPS Priority Mail (Medium and Large Prints, Original Paintings) in the USA, and via First Class International for countries outside the USA. Small prints are shipped in a rigid envelope. Medium and large prints are rolled into a heavy duty mailing tube. Each Fine Art print is carefully packaged in a clear protective enclosure. Original paintings are meticulously packed to assure safe arrival.

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of receipt as long as the prints are undamaged and in re-sellable condition. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Contact returns@catbachman.com within 14 days and note your order number.
